Meet the Designer – Katie Worsham
Name: Katie Worsham
DOB: June, 26, 1982
Graduate of The University of Oklahoma with a degree in Marketing
Married for 8 years to Todd
Two boys: Cooper (4) Corbin (1.5)
10 Get to Know you Questions:
1. Where do you live?
Tulsa, Oklahoma
2. What is your average day like?
My boys love to sleep (lucky me!) We wake up between 8 & 9. Cartoons and Coffee and then playtime. During playtime I usually get to spend a little time answering emails and get in some time to conference with Angie about our day at Photo Card Boutique. Then it’s lunch and pre-k for Cooper. Nap time for Corbin and designing time for ME! I usually have to wake Corbin up from his nap in order to pick up Cooper from school, and then we play outside until its dinner time. Then its dinner, bath and bedtime stories.
3. What type of pets do you have?
We have two golden retrievers, Wrigley & Ty
4. What is your favorite color?
What girl doesn’t love PINK! Today at the apple store as I was buying a new case for my phone (a bright pink one) I also asked if they had an stylus in stock for the iPad… she said yes but asked if I wanted black or pink, ‘but the pink is REALLY bright’ she said… well DUH which one do you think i chose?
5. What word best describes you?
Social
6. What is your greatest accomplishment?
I would have to say joining Angie as a designer at Photo Card Boutique. Its been a dream of mine, and I consider myself lucky!
7. What is most memorable about your high school years?
Oh man, What isn’t memorable?! I love my friends from High School. They are seriously the best! It doesn’t matter how long its been since we have talked or how many miles apart we are, we can still connect like we did in High School. I cherish my friends and love every min we spend together!!!
8. If you were on an island, who would you want to be with? Why?
My family. I wouldn’t be who I am today without the love and support of my husband and boys. My boys make me the person I am. I love being a mother and wouldn’t want to spend one day apart from them!
9. What is your biggest obsession?
Pictures! I was obsessed before the obsession of the ’365 day photo challage’ was popular! For both of my boys I took a picture every day of them for the first year of their life. Yes, that means that to get a ‘good picture’ each day I took 30 pictures… and no I don’t delete! So as of right now. I have 27, 204 pictures on my computer
10. Who do you admire?
I admire many people, but I think I will have to say I admire most the men and women in the military. I currently know several people deployed. It is an amazing mission and sacrifice they are making, along with their families for our freedom. I commend and admire each and everyone of them. Their daily sacrifice, being away from their family and putting themselves in the face of danger is just awe inspiring to me.
